ELECTRONIC BUILDING IDENTITY
The Electronic Building Identity is, in essence, an actual tangible dossier – not just an electronic one – containing all the details of the property. It is created, amended and maintained by the appointed engineer, and the owners of the property are required by law to keep it available.
At the same time, the dossier is also kept in electronic form at the Observatory of the Built Environment as a control element.
It includes, among other things, the certified building permit, the floor plans, the PEA, the Certificate of Completion of the Building Identity, the checks documents for the architectural and electromechanical studies, and other necessary elements that your civil engineer will explain to you.
The obligation to issue an Electronic Building Identity also applies to buildings without a building permit, and is a necessary document for the conclusion of any legal transaction.
It applies to both the entire building and the independent properties, horizontal or vertical, that lie in it.
