ISSUANCE OF ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE (PEA)
The Energy Performance Certificate (PEA) is drawn up following an Energy Inspection on your property, through which the actual energy consumption, the factors affecting it, and the possibilities for energy saving are assessed.
You will need it for each new building construction, for any sale or acquisition of a residential property over 50 sq.m., for new leases of single properties over 50 sq.m. of all uses and for new leases of parts of properties (residential – shops).
The PEA is issued at the initiative of the owner and by assignment to a Certified Energy Inspector, registered by the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change.
The owner provides the Energy Inspector with the necessary supporting documents for the property, so that it can be registered to the Building Inspection Archives and receive an Energy Inspection Protocol Number.
The Energy Inspector then conducts an autopsy on the property, verifies the information provided by the owner, records the required data, calculates the energy efficiency of the building using specialized software and issues the PEA.
